Although this doesn’t really affect gameplay, the professional style boards would be better for tournaments because of the consistency.
The major downfall of these types of boards is that there are not a lot of different design choices available. They do have some pretty awesome patriotic and wood grain boards, but outside of those 2 design categories, there isn’t much to choose from.
